Commissioner of Housing Zulfa defends budget before house committee

Plateau Commissioner for housing Barrister Zulfa Bitrus Rimven, on Tuesday appeared before the state assembly standing committee on housing and urban development led by its chairman to defend its budget .

Our correspondent reports that Hon. Timothy Dantong, the committee’s chairman after series of deliberations on the budget, said the committee is set to carryout oversight functions in order to ensure total and efficient budget implementation after giving the budget clear perusal and passage into law.

The Commissioner accompanied by the Permanent Secretary and directors in the ministry assured the committee of its readiness to deliver on its statutory mandate and make judicious use of funds allocated to the ministry to the development of plateau state and Nigeria at large.
