Commander Corps of Signals Visit Jos, Urges Troops in 3 Division to Maintain High of Discipline

Troops in 3 Division have been commended for the high level of discipline they exhibit while discharging their duties. The commendation was made by the Commander Corps of Signals, Major General Garba Sani Abdullahi during his tour of Signal formation and units under Headquarters 3 Division, Jos Plateau State.

Major General Abdullahi charged the troops to maintain the level of disciple and to always conduct themselves professionally while discharging their roles of providing secured communications support to 3 Div and all its formations and units.

Addressing troops at various locations, the Commander revealed that, he was in 3 Division to evaluate the technical communication equipment in the Division towards upgrading it’s efficiency.

Receiving the Commander Corps of Signals, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major General Abdulsalami Bagudu Ibrahim noted that communication is key to a successful military operation. The GOC who was represented by the Chief of Staff Headquarters 3 Division, Brigadier General David Kurmi also noted the tremendous achievements recorded by troops of 3 Division against criminal elements in it’s area of operation.

Briefing the Commander Corps of Signals in his office, the Commander 53 Signal Brigade, Jos, Brigadier General Olumide Adeleke Ojo highlighted the challenges faced by the Signal Brigade and efforts made to ameliorate them. General Ojo equally noted the professional posture maintained by troops during the just concluded general elections. He appreciated the support the Brigade continued to enjoy from HQ 3 Division and the Signal headquarters.

General Abdullahi during his tour also visited 73 Supply and Transport Brigade Drivers Training School, 530 Signal Regiment, and 535 Signal Regiment, Jos where he was briefed and inspected Communication equipment and addressed troops.
