On account of the violent attacks and killings in Daffo Community, Bokkos LGA in Plateau State, Col. Samuel Gulong Fwangje(Rtr) has visited the people to sympathize with them.

He tasked the people to remain dedicated to God in this time of trials, be prayerful and be more vigilant at all times.

He said his prayer is that such ugly incident will not befall them again.

He went further to encourage the people not to see their present predicament as permanent because God will wipe their tears and restore them beyond their expectation.

He called on both sides involved in the crisis to embrace dialogue and live in peace with one another.

Col. Fwangje who spoke to Viewpoint Nigeria said his gesture was borne out of his empathy to those affected by the violent attacks.

The visit to the Internally Displaced Persons(IDPs) was preceded by the visit to the Palace of the Saf Dafo, HRH Prince Bitrus Maren, the Traditional Ruler and District Head of Daffo.

Col. Fwangje presented relief materials such as food stuffs, clothes, detergents, palm oil, washing soap and others to the displaced persons.

The items were received by those in charge of the IDPs and Relief Materials at COCIN RCC Headquarters Daffo, Bokkos.

Col. Fwangje was in company of some friends and associates.
