The palpable tension Viewpoint Nigeria reported this morning around Dong in Jos North LGA and Rafiki neighboring communities to Miango District of Bassa LGA, Plateau State has heightened and degenerated to violent crisis.

Viewpoint Nigeria was informed reliably of the setting ablaze of COCIN Dong Kasa.

The attackers were dressed in blacks and well armed, shooting and burning houses. One indigene has been reported killed by the attackers while others sustained wounds from gunshots.

Some MOPOL and Men of the Civil Defence have been informed and working seriously to contain the breach of security.

Many houses were seen in dark smoke at the time of filing this report.
