COA Media, the organizers of Plateau Leadership Summit, the Plateau Man of the Year annual Awards events and other developmental programs is set to host the 2021 National Summit tagged National Summit for Emerging Nigerian Leaders, which is intended to inspire high level leadership capabilities towards the fulfillment of the greater vision of leadership in Nigeria.
The inaugural Summit with the theme: “Securing Nigeria’s Future as a United, Strong and Progressive Nation”, is Schedule to hold on the 11th of November, 2021 in ABUJA FCT. This become paramount against the backdrop of growing separatist concerns in the country with a view to douse the tension within the polity caused largely due to the increasing agitations from groups assumed to be aggrieved by what is usually expressed in uneven distribution of resources, political offices and other perceived inequalities.
The purpose of this year’s theme was intentionally chosen to provoke transformative discussion among emerging leaders expected to be drawn from all walks of life across the Federation in order to empower them with the leadership skills necessary to get involved in the provision of quality leadership at every level of human endeavor.
This is more so that no Nation can rise above the quality of its leadership thus it behoves on all and sundry from Civil Society groups, Non Governmental Organizations, and concern Developmental Agencies to begin Advocacy campaigns that can prepare the Nation for a robust transition in leadership through the effective involvement of youths in the determination of the country’s destiny as a United and Indivisible entity.
Achieving and enthroning a prosperous strong, virile and reputable Nigeria is possible only when the young people are given the right knowledge and skills to engage the institutions and processes of leadership with the aim of rewarding uncommon performance and punishing underperformance.
Therefore, the theme for this year’s leadership summit intends to seek ways to tender likely solutions to the prevailing concerns threatening the existence of Nigeria with its leadership institutions and processes that can be amiably resolved.
We hereby solicit your inputs and keen participation in the emergence of the New Nigeria.
Signed
Amb. Cletus Akhimien
