The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Regional Church Council (RCC) Ampang East, held a significant ceremony today as part of its 10th-year anniversary celebrations, honoring the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.
The anniversary event was a moment of reflection and celebration of the church’s growth and the outstanding contributions of its members and illustrious sons and daughters. Professor Yilwatda was recognized for his immense contributions to the development of the church and his unwavering support.
Professor Yilwatda was specially recognized for the construction of the church building and his consistent commitment to the well-being and progress of the congregation. His actions were highlighted as a testament to his faith and dedication to uplifting the local community.
”We are celebrating a decade of God’s faithfulness, and it is only fitting that we acknowledge those who have been instrumental in our journey,” said a church official during the ceremony. “Professor Nentawe Yilwatda has consistently stood for this church, and his contribution to the building’s infrastructure is a lasting legacy.”
In a similar gesture of benevolence and support for the church’s leadership, the APC National Chairman presented a significant donation. Professor Yilwatda handed over a brand new Toyota Highlander to the RCC Ampang East Chairman. This donation is intended to greatly ease the mobility and administrative duties of the regional council’s leader.
The ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries, church elders, and members, all of whom celebrated the church’s milestone and the recognized contributions of Professor Yilwatda
