CHIEF ROBERT TAPLE INTERACTS WITH CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS OF YOUTH GROUP IN JOS

As part of his continuous engagement and capacity/confidence building among youths across the state, Chief Barr. Robert Andrew Taple, a Forefront 2023 Gubernatorial Aspirant in Plateau State met with youths under the aegis of APC National Youth Network (Plateau State Chapter) at Chindi Hotel, Jos South, Plateau State.

Speaking passionately at the meeting, the astute Administrator, Technocrat and Politician emphasized the need for comprehensive youth inclusion in governance, as this demography represents the “brains and brawns” (mental acuity/intelligence and great power or physical strength, considered together) in every society.

He expressed his desire to have a cabinet filled exclusively with progressive, vibrant and innovative young people with world-class initiatives that will drive the state towards global best practices and economic growth, while promising to have the older generation come in as advisers.

Chief Taple symbolizes youth inclusion and participation in governance as “handing over an egg” to them, and enjoined them to be careful and strategic in handling it as they will be held responsible in the event that they let it down.

He also expressed the desire to run a government where questions, criticisms and protests will be welcomed with the aim of generating ideas that would move the state forward.

Responding on behalf of the group, State Coordinator of the Youth Network, Comr. Gomos Todang Yelnya expressed confidence in the visions and aspiration of the seasoned Technocrat/ Administrator. He appreciated the Aspirant for honouring their invitation and wished him well in his political endeavor.

The Coordinator urged Chief Taple to consider the interest of Plateau people first, in all his doings and sued for unity of purpose among all Aspirants.
