Chief Burki put smiles on People with Disabilities in Jos North, as he distributes 50 wheelchairs.

Chief executive officer, Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center Jos Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan has today donated fifty wheelchairs to people living with disabilities in Jos North Local Government Council. The donation was made in collaboration with the office of the Executive Chairman of Jos North local government council.

Chief executive officer, Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center Jos Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan has today donated fifty (50) wheelchairs to people living with disability in Jos North Local Government Council, the donation was made in collaboration with the office of the Executive Chairman of Jos North local government council.

According to Chief Ayuba Burki who was ably represented by the foundation media and programme officer Miss Sandra Nanbam Yilgwan said ” we at Beautiful gate foundation wishes to make life easy to all persons living with disability in Plateau and Nigeria at Large, that is why we’re today donating free wheelchairs in Jos North.
I want you to know that there is ability in disability, some of you know my boss is on wheelchair but he is the one paying my salary, he is the one making this wheelchair.

Therefore those of you who are beneficiaries of today’s donation should try and go to school if you have to, learn handwork or do business. We don’t want those that will receive our wheelchair to go and be begging on the street”

Miss Sandra also appreciated the Executive chairman of Jos North local government council Hon. Amb. Shehu Bala Usman for having people with disability at heart and pleaded for more opportunities and empowerment for people with disability within the local government council.

Responding the Executive chairman of Jos North local government council Hon Amb. Shehu Bala Usman appreciated the director Beautiful gate foundation for their kind gesture, he said for someone to give you 50 free wheelchairs without paying a kobo means that he truly have you at heart and this should not be taken for granted. He urged beneficiaries to take judicious use of the wheelchairs for community development not to go and beg on the street.

The Supervisory councilor for social services Hon. John Arin thank the Honorable chairman of Jos North local government for given him the opportunity and also for remembering people from his constituentcy.
Hon. John also pray God to bless Beautiful gate foundation.

According to one of the beneficiary Mr. Ado shehu, chief coach para soccer game sport council said “I want to appreciate the gift by beautiful gate together with the local government, this will help me in my business. I pray that God Almighty bless chief Ayuba Burki for this wonderful help he has rendered”
