BURKI ATTENDS FREEWILL DONATION PROGRAMME IN COCIN LCC NJUKKUDEL, BOKKOS LGA

Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan was today at Njukkudel village, Bokkos Local Government Area to celebrate with the women of COCIN LCC Njukkudel on the occasion of their women day programme and freewill offering to support their activities.

Chief Burki who was well received by the congregation applauded the women of COCIN Njukkudel for their invaluable contribution to the growth of Christianity and tasked them to continue to be Christlike. Also, he appreciated God Almighty for making it possible for him to fellowship with them after been hospitalized and advised the congregation to take the issue of coronavirus serious and adhere to the health protocols outlined by the Nigerian government and the World Health Organization. He thereafter donated his widows mite to support the activities of the women.

After the church service, Chief Burki paid a condolence visit to the family residence of Late PTE Thomas Peter Makawal in Bokkos town to commiserate with them over his demise.

PTE Thomas Peter Makwal until his murder in Bokkos was a serving personnel with the Nigerian Army in Borno State.

He condoled with the family over the irreparable loss while praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased. He called on the relevant authorities to investigate the dastard act and bring to book those culpable.
