Chairman Langtang South LGC, Hon. Nimchak Rims Offers Free Medical Outreach to Over 5,000 Residents

Chairman Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau state Hon. Rims Nimchak ,has offered free Medical Outreach to over 5,000 Residents of the local government .
Our correspondent reports that the free Medical outreach which is been carried out in conjunction with Eden- Compassion And Health Mission Int’l(ECHM) started on the 21st of September and is expected to end on the 27th of September 2019.
Speaking to newsmen at the venue of the outreach in Mabudi the LGA headquarters Mr. Rims said “the APC led government is determined to provide quality healthcare Services to the people of the Area. “During our campaigns we vowed to provide free Medical services to our people and we are now fulfilling this promises with the little resources we have”.
“The APC led Government is determined to touch the lives of the downtrodden in the society”he added.
“We decided to go into Medical Outreach whereby we go to the suburbs to reach out to people,” thousands of residents have benefitted from the programme “. He added.
Mr .Rims said ” Several Medical Doctors, Optometrists and Laboratory Technicians participated in the outreach, “and urged residents to always ensure they take advantage of such outreaches by presenting themselves for the free medical check-ups. He urged the people to be patient and follow due processes as the Doctors will attend to all citizens who avail themselves.
Mr. Rims further pledged to improve the standard of Education in his Local Government and boost Agriculture as well as provide dividends of democracy to the people, .
A beneficiary of the Free Medical Outreach Mama Rifkatu Dombin from Faya thanked the Chairman for such a bold step to reach to the poor at their time of their need.
She said “before now she did not have money to treat herself until the outreach .”
Another beneficiary, of the Medical Outreach Pricila Nangwang commended the LGA boss for saving her the cost of paying for treatment at hospital.
“This is more than the medical outreaches people have been doing here.” They check my blood pressure, took my blood, gave me drugs and food. “If I had gone to hospital, I will spend so much money but I got everything for free i am grateful,” She said.
