Executive Chairman of Langtang-south local government of Plateau state , Hon. Nimchak Samson Rims, has flagged-up the distribution of Palliatives worth millions of naira and over 10,000 face masks to the poor vulnerable and aged.

Performing the exercise in Mabudi yesterday the council Boss said the kind gesture is to compliment the effort of the state government and to cushion the effects of the covid 19 lockdown declared in the state.

The council Boss who was represented by the council secretary, Hon. Joel Vongdul, stated that all items are to be distributed strictly to those who falls within the selected group of persons irrespective of political affiliations.

While the food palliatives are for the poor, vulnerable and the aged, the face masks were distributed to the political parties, security agencies voluntary organizations,and religious groups.
