Robert Nesta Marley was born on the 6th of February 1945  and died on the 11th of May 1981.

Reggae fans worldwide have christened May 11 as Bob Marley day.
Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer-songwriter who became an international musical and cultural icon,blending mostly Reggae , ska, and Rock steady in his compositions. Starting out in 1963 with the group The Wailers, he forged a distinctive songwriting and vocal style that would later resonate with audiences worldwide.
