The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has adjusted the proposed dates for all its Primaries and communicated same to the electoral umpire, INEC.

The new dates are as follows:

1. House of Assembly – Saturday 21st of May.
2. House of Representatives – Sunday 22nd of May.
3. Senate – Monday 23rd of May.
4. Governorship – Wednesday May 25th, 2022

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the PDP National Chairman, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu and National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu.

The statement also stated that due to sit-at-Home currently observed on the South Eastern Region on Mondays, the Senate Primaries will now hold on Tuesday May 24th, 2022.
