The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal at West of Mines today upheld the election of the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong as the duly elected Governor of Plateau State in the March 9th, 2019 Gubernatorial election dismissing the petition of Sen. JT Useni, the PDP Governership Candidate and his party the PDP.

Sen. JT Useni had earlier petitioned challenging the declaration of Gov. Lalong by INEC as duly elected.

Total votes for APC in the disputed March, 2019 595,582 while PDP got 546,813.

The Tribunal nullified 4065 for APC and 1,439 for the PDP.

Total votes after Tribunal’s judgment were APC 591,572 and PDP 545,374

Therefore, total winning votes was 46,143.
