Information reaching Viewpoint Nigeria has it that the ban imposed on Jay FM on Thursday 28th February, 2019 by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has been lifted.

The Station is billed to resume transmission on Wednesday 15th May, 2019.

In a short message by the the Managing Director, Mr. Clinton Garuba confirmed that as this was obtained from him:

At this very moment while preparing to make a robust appearance in Court tomorrow, I am pleased to inform the Jay FM Family that we have been allowed to resume transmission effective tomorrow 15th May, 2019.

Congratulations to all of us.

Before now, an out of court settlement was mulled last week which must have made the resumption of transmission possible.
