          Investigation revealed that the bombs were thrown from a moving vehicle at the entrance to the popular Bauchi road motor park where fruits sellers displayed their wares.Another sources told our correspondent that one of the bombs was thrown at the gate of Bauchi road Campus of University of Jos, precisely at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences which is also along the road.University of Jos students are currently writing their second semester examination.

          A source also told our correspondent by phone that he counted 12 bodies on the ground as members of the Special Task Force on Jos crisis code name Operation Save Haven were seen moving to the area to cordon off the affected spot and to evacuate those who sustained injuries to hospital.

          This development has created tension around Bauchi Road campus of University of Jos.According to one of the students who gave his name as Paul, “when we heard the loud explosions students started scampering to safety and calling for help. ”He further stressed “As I speak to you now, we are still in fear; we don’t know how many persons are involved. I pray that our students are not among casualties. ”

          Confirming the incident, DSP Abu Emmanuel, Plateau Police Command public relation officer (PPRO), said they was a bomb blast at Bauchi road stressing that the securities operatives has move in to rescue the situation.

When asked of number of casualties he said as for now we are into rescue operation, casualties figure will be made available much later after securing the site he told our correspondent on phone.
