News reaching the ViewPointNigeria desk indicates that political intrigues continue to mar functions at the Plateau State House of Assembly, as the Deputy Speaker, Yusuf Gagdi (who recently dumped the PDP for APC) was impeached this morning.

In his place, a counterpart from Plateau central, Hon. Sale Yimpong (representing Dengi constituency) was installed.

Speaking to sources familiar with the incident, they cited his autocratic and non-inclusive style as reason for his being impeached.
