The 2020 Distribution of Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets kicked off with a colourful start in Bokkos Local Government Of Plateau State.

The Executive Chairman,Chief Yusuf Machen declare the exercise open in Bokkos as Women trooped out en masse to collect mosquito nets of registered household in Bokkos.

Acting Saf Ron-Kulere.Da.Saf Lawrence Ayizat(JP) and The Traditional council were on ground to give the occasion royal blessings.

The state and local government team of the LLIN Distribution were on hand to do a physical health education on how to hang the nets and good practice of managing the net.

The Yusuf Machen led administration only recently initiated a free health programme where over twenty two thousand beneficiaries were treated of various aliments.

The free medical Outreach is aimed at providing free medical treatment,free antenatal care and treatment of both minor and major ailment for both children and adult citizen of the Local area.

In his speech/declaring the Distribution of the net open,Machen says his Regime is focusing on health as a top priority.

“Government is not unaware of the daunting Challenges facing health care delivery services in the locality beign a sector that require huge financial commitment.i however like to assure you all that things are being done to face to face these challenges squarely and make our people live a life devoid of presentable and manageable illnesses and sickness inspire of the lean financial resources available”
