Today, Chakarum and Dangyel Communities of Vwang District in Jos South LGA, Plateau State were filled with joy as an apolitical group of Professionals under the auspice of Berom Progressive Minds (BPM) distributed food items as palliatives to the less privileged comprising mostly of widows, orphans and the aged.
Presenting the food items which included Rice, Groundnut Oil and Maggi, the National Coordinator of BPM, Hon. Pamson Dagyat said the gesture was to assist the people who have undergone series of violent attacks which has affected their means of livelihood and other economic activities adversely.
He said the group is aware of the challenges confronting the people and will continue to do its best to assist.
Hon. Pamson encouraged the people to be resilient and ensure they are more united to confront their numerous challenges.
He urged them to be prayerful, security conscious and demonstrate commitment towards the development of the areas.
Speaking on behalf of the Gwom Rwey (District) Vwang, Da Luka Badung Choji the Damanjei (Village Head) Chakarum lauded the humanitarian gesture of the group and for identifying with the needy at this critical time.
He presented some of the needs of the Communities which included lack of portable drinking water, bad roads etc.
He prayed God to open greater doors to the group in order to continue making greater impacts.

Pharm. Blessing Adamu Dalyop Chairman of the BPM Palliatives Committee admonished the people to remain steadfast, trust God and positive in life saying they shouldn’t be deterred by their present predicament.
One of the beneficiaries, Ngo Nvou Davou who couldn’t hide her joy appreciated the group for identifying with them and assisting them with food items.
