Berom Muslim Forum (BMF) has congratulated the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, His Majesty Da Jacob Gyang, CFR on his 72nd Birthday Anniversary describing him a Father, bridge Builder and a Patriotic paramount Ruler who served the Nation meticulously in the past when he served as the Comptroller-General of Customs.

The felicitation was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the group, Alh. Gyang Jibrin Ibrahim and made available to Viewpoint Nigeria. Jibrin Gyang said since the ascension of the Septuagenarian to the throne as Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman of Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, remarkable achievements and successes have been recorded on account of his pragmatic leadership which he said is yielding positive results.

“With utmost joy we celebrate the birthday of our Father, the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, His Majesty Da (Dr) Jacob Gyang Buba, CFR.
“This Day is unique to us and we celebrate you as our Paramount Ruler and the custodian of our tradition and rich heritage.
“Your outstanding leadership has attracted unity and greater development to the Berom Nation, the Plateau State Joint Traditional Council, Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

“We still recall with nostalgia your patriotic and Nationalistic disposition when you held sway as the Comptroller General of Customs in Nigeria in which you served with true patriotism, zeal and all diligence. No wonder, your present disposition to leadership has brought about great impact to humanity, the State and Nation at large.”
