Today the apex decision making body of the Berom Nation, Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) in line with its Constitution appointed a Caretaker Committed headed by a former President of Berom Youth Movement, Mr. Francis Jamang during a National Congress Meeting which held at Vwei (Kuru), Jos South LGA.

This decision is to avoid leadership vacuum as the tenure of the present Executives come to an end today.

This was made available to Viewpoint Nigeria through a statement signed by the outgoing National Secretary, Da Davou Choji.

Da Davou Choji admonished the Berom Nation and general public to accord them maximum cooperation/ supports while appreciating them for the supports given them throughout their 3 years tenure.

At a very peaceful Congress held today Saturday, 3/11/18 @ Da Markus Pwajok Hall Vwei Kuru, the following were appointed to serve as Caretaker Executive in line with the provisions of the BECO 2004 Constitution :

The tenure of the Da Ericson E. Fom led Central Executive Committee ceases by 12 midnight tomorrow Sunday, 4/11/18. ALL BECO Committees have been dissolved as a result of this development.

ALL members, affiliate associations, organs of BECO and the general public are by this notice informed of the development and are to take note for necessary action.

The outgoing EXCO appreciates the support and solidarity of all Berom and non Berom alike and urge you to extend same to the Caretaker Executive.
