LABOUR DAY GREETINGS TO WORKERS AND LEADERS OF THE SOUTHERN SENATORIAL ZONE OF PLATEAU STATE.
1. Time has come again to remember the toils and hard work that we put in everyday of our lives all with the aim of surviving and providing for our families and loved ones. We go to the extent that we forfeit the little comfort by working all through the year because the so called leave we get make us work twice harder.

2. I remember this day our parents, brothers and sisters who are in far away locations in their farms, the bread hawkers, [of which I was one], workers in our six Local Government Areas of Quaan Pan, Shendam, Mikang, Wase, Langtang North and South. I remember too our brothers working with the Federal and State Governments. Also not forgotten are the teeming unemployed but able youth of our Zone, the Yam Sellers at Mile 12 Market Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu and all the cities in Nigeria where our people take their agricultural produce to sell. The hardship you go through now will soon be a thing of the past.

3. To you all, I send my heartfelf felicitations on this day of the celebration of the LABOUR DAY…and I say HAPPY MAY DAY CELEBRATIONS. I pray that the Lord Almighty, the maker and creator of all things will provide for us and give us great hope for a great future.
