A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government —typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. These official acts are called notarizations, or notarial acts. Notaries are publicly commissioned as “ministerial” officials, meaning that they are expected to follow written rules without the exercise of significant personal discretion, as would otherwise be the case with a “judicial” official.

You can become a Notary in your state if you meet the eligibility requirements and follow all of the steps your state includes in their commissioning process. The process varies from state to state, but generally, you would fill out an application, pay the state’s application fee, take a training course or pass an exam, file your bond and oath of office, and buy your Notary supplies.

The event climaxed with refreshment at his Little Rayfield Residence Jos, Plateau State.

Some high profile personalities who graced the occasion were Sen. Victor Lar, Rt. Hon. Istifanus Mwansat, Hon. Raymond Dabo, Hon. Jummai Madaki, Da Hon. Moses Dalyop, Hon. Chris Hassan, Hon. Emmanuel Solomon Dung (Gibok) Hon. Dalyop Macha, Hon. Daniel Kungmi Hon. Surv. (Mrs) Esther Dusu, Hon. Benedict Shignughul, Hon. Samuel Domle, Hon. Ishaya Gadu, Hon. Leo Jitong, Hon. James Pam, Hon.
