Barr. Caleb Mutfwang Says Tougher Time Awaits Land Grabbers, Assure Farmers of Getting Value for Farming Activities

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has again assured the Citizens of Plateau State that under his watch if elected Governor of Plateau State, his administration will work relentlessly to ensure that all lands forcefully taken over and being illegally occupied by criminal elements are recovered fully and returned to the aboriginal Owners.
He gave this assurance while engaging the citizens of Jos South Local Government Area of the State during the Town Hall Meeting today 30th January, 2023 which held at Langfield Leisure Park Little Rayfield Jos.
“If elected, all land grabbed will be recovered and we will ensure no land is forcefully taken over from our people again. We’ll ensure our people are safe, secured and carry out their legitimate activities without being harassed or molested in anyway. We’ll ensure that the insecurity that has been plaguing our people is tackled” he hinted.


The Governorship hopeful also assured the citizens of his administration’s readiness to turnaround the economic fortunes of the State which in turn he said will guarantee greater prosperity. He assured Farmers of the provision of quality farm inputs and other supports that will make them get greater value for their farming activities, be it subsistence or commercial agriculture.
He said his administration will provide leadership, entrench good governance that will make the citizens of Plateau State proud and give them a sense of belonging where everybody is carried along irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliation.
According to him, it is time to build bridges of unity, peace and demonstrate love for one another, saying the ruling APC has thrown the Nation into a state of hopelessness hence the need to vote them out. He charged the people to vote PDP at all levels in the forthcoming general elections and beyond.


Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State Hon. Chris Hassan, Director General of Atiku/Okowa & Mutfwang/Piyo Campaign Organization Plateau State Chief Latep Dabang, Hon. Sunday Abdu the Plateau North Campaign Deputy Director General and others who spoke said the APC having failed woefully and betrayed the trust of Nigerians should be shown the way out of government.
They said PDP has men and women of integrity, competence and capacity who will not betray the people’s trust but justify same with credible representation.


The engagement had in attendance representatives of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Civil Servants, Miyetti Allah, Igbo, Yoruba, Eggon, Hausa, Tiv, igala, Tsayawa, Niger Delta, Hausa Political group, PDP Elders, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Medical and Health Workers, Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP), Tricycle Riders Association, Mechanics Union, National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS), Plateau Youth Council (PYC), Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Traders Association, Farmers’ Association, Market Women Association, and others.
