Baby of the oldest 63yrs IVF mother in Africa turns one

An American novelist Gail Tsukiyama, once said, “Mother’s and children are in a category of their own. There’s no bond so strong in the entire wolrd. No love so instantaneous and forgiving.”

It would not be out of place to say that the joys of motherhood lies in motherhood and like the Japanese writer Lin Yutang rightly said, “of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother.”

To this end, about a year ago a mile stone was achieved in Alps hospitals and diagnostics (formally gynaeville specialist hospital ) when Africa delivered of the oldest woman (63yrs) to conceive through IVF, a baby girl, at the instance of Dr. Kenneth Egwuda and his team of experts.

Since the achievement of this record breaking event, IVF/ART has gained more acceptance in not only in Jos but Nigeria and Africa as a whole. This is because the event kindled hope in the hearts of so many who were tired and had given up hope of achieving pregnancy.

Today baby Bes-hanni is a year old, contrary to wrong views and belief held by some uninformed members of the public.Queries or controversies came from various quarters across the globe concerning the upkeep and well being of the new born in view of life expectancy of the average African person.

In view of this, the management of Alps hospitals have secured an Education Legacy Insurance Plan for baby Bes-hanni.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. We encourage people to give IVF a try and never loose hope.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Davou and happy Birthday to our sweet miracle baby, Bes-hanni.
