Assembly of God Northern Nigeria Officially Declares Plateau Zone

In a grand style the Assembly of God Northern Nigeria (AGNN) today officially declared the Plateau Zone in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The historic event was well attended by Worshippers in their thousand including Traditional Leaders, Clergies, Political Leaders, Elites, Journalists, Leaders/Members of the Church in other Northern States, Youths, Women and Teenagers alike who thronged in to witness the epoch making event.

The event featured Special Songs Ministration by Gwol Area Women Fellowship, Jos District Women Fellowship, Jos Mainland District Men’s Fellowship and Jos Mainland Conventional Choir who thrilled the Guests with their songs.

In his exhortation, Rev. Yakubu Pam read from Joshua 1:5 where he admonished the people to stand firm and walk diligently and obediently with God saying doing so will enable them overcome their challenges.
He charged them to discard fear which he said is an enemy to success. He disclosed that those who trust God and make Him their Stronghold have no fear.
He said visionary Leaders are selfless and can die for their people.
He said the Assembly of God Northern Nigeria has come to stay, spread the gospel of salvation, depopulate hell & populate the Kingdom of God.

He declared that the Church is opened to all who are ready to join its fold irrespective of their ethnic, tribal as well as religious.
He charged Leaders to be ready to make sacrifices that will benefit the people and spoke on the need for the people to always be spiritually sound.

Rev. Pam urged the people to remain steadfast and demonstrate love towards one another. He called on the congregation to be agents of peace, unity and harmonious living.

He lauded Members of the Planning Committee for making the event a huge success.

Goodwill messages came from Traditional Rulers, some Political Leaders, Clergies and other important figures of the Church who promised to continue to support the Church spiritually and in other ways that will take the it to enviable height.
