Architect Samuel Longkat Bentu honoured with two Humanitarian service awards by NANS and NAPSS.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Plateau state chapter and the National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS) on Friday 17/11/2023 honoured architect Samuel Longkat Bentu with Humanitarian service awards.

The National Association of Nigerian Students gave Samuel Longkat Bentu the award during a lecture organized by the association at the Plateau state university Bokkos tagged: The media directive as a tool for promoting unity, culture and diversity Presented by Dr. Henry Katnion, a senior lecturer from the federal college of education Pankshin.

According to the organizers, the award was in recognition of his Humanitarian services to Nigerian students and the less privilege within and outside his community and state.

Similarly, the National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS) Plateau state Polytechnic chapter also honoured architect Samuel Longkat Bentu with Humanitarian service award for his significant contribution to the well being of Plateau State Students and the needy in the state.

Speaking while receiving the awards, architect Samuel Longkat Bentu who was ably represented by his personal assistant Mr. Fwangshak Samson said that the awards will only spour him to do more for the Nigerian students as he is just starting and that his Humanitarian service is born out of his passion and compassion for his love for humanity and to contribute towards a better society that will benefit all.

He encouraged the students to remain steadfast and resolute in their accademic persuade as the importance of education can not be overemphasized in our present generation.

Architect Samuel Longkat Bentu is a philanthropist who has touched the lives of many especially students and the less privilege through awarding of educational scholarships, donations free books and writing materials to school children and donations to the internally displaced persons.

Some notable personalities that are also recipients of the awards from NANS and NAPSS include; the registrar federal college of education Pankshin Mrs. Elizabeth Homsuk, the Rector Plateau state Polytechnic Builder John Dawam, Hon. Isaac Kwallu, Hon. Nanbol Listic and many others.
