APC rivalry clash in Dengi the Local Government Headquarters of Kanam Local Government Area has led to breach of peace and security according to information made available to Viewpoint Nigeria.

The clash was caused as a result of a faction of the party blocking the major Dengi to Jos Road to stop those going to the inauguration of the screened Commissioners. They road was impassable as they were hostile and burning tyres on the road to prevent anyone going for the swearing in.

Their actions were resisted by the other faction going to Jos for the inauguration.

The protesting members of one of the factions were said not to be comfortable with a commissioner nominee from the area.

At the time of filing this report, four persons were reportedly injured and receiving medical attention.
