Preparations are now at advanced stages for the hosting of the 40th Anniversary of the Berom Youth Moulders-Association.

In a statement signed by the Chairman Media and Publicity Committee of the Ruby Anniversary, Davou Gyang Jatau the event will hold on Thursday 2nd to Friday 3rd February, 2023.

According to him, Thursday 2nd February, 2023 will see the Berom youths across the Nation stationed at Secretariat Junction Roundabout at 8am for a peaceful walk to the Palace of His Majesty, Da (Dr) Jacob Gyang Buba, CFR the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs who will be receiving the Youth who shall be paying him homage.
2pm of same Day will feature the Football Final Competition between BYM Vyara Branch and BYM Foron District which will hold at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium Jos, Plateau State.

Friday 3rd February, 2023 will be the main event which will feature the 40th Anniversary celebration, Awards presentation and fundraising in support of the Associations’ ongoing resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons in Berom Land. The event will be chaired by the Senator representing Plateau North, Sen. Istifanus Dung Gyang while Prof. Yusuf Turaki who is the Guest speaker will be speaking on the topic “the Role of Socio-Cultural Organisation in shaping the politcal landscape, BYM in perspective”

The Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee said the Anniversary promises to be entertaining, educative and mind blowing.

He said Berom Youths across the Nation are ready to fully participate and make the event a huge success.
