Let me start by thanking God, the maker of Heaven and earth, the Author and finisher of our faith for this resounding victory granted us. God is the ultimate source of this victory.

Today is indeed a great day and the delegates have spoken and spoken so loud.

We will not take your supports for granted. You remain dear to our hearts and we are indebted to you.

Delegates, political associates, friends, fans, supporters, well-wishers, good people of Jos South LGA and the PDP family: I hereby humbly and gratefully accept your nomination for the Chairmanship of Jos South LGA under our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Thank you all for believing in our capacities, capabilities and competencies to transform Jos South LGA and take it to enviable height and impact the lives of our people positively.

Together, we will lead our party back to Jos South Secretariat and subsequently Little Rayfield Jos and Aso Rock, and we will lead Jos South LGA back to prosperity, economic growth and development.

We promise to uphold and not disappoint the trust and confidence bestowed on us through this great political mandate.

Despite the campaigns of calumny, character assassination, unhealthy propaganda and hate orchestrated by our opponents, we were objective, diplomatic, resolute, focused, ran issue-based campaigns devoid of rancor and God has rewarded us with this resounding victory. We return all glory, honor and adoration to Almighty God. This victory is purely God’s engineering, though he used human forces to bring it to fruition.

We intend to run an all-inclusive campaigns and carry those we contested along as this victory is a collective one for the Party.

We have to work together to make Jos South LGA greater, better, more attractive and business-friendly.

We will ensure we work to give our people the best of good governance and bring democratic benefits to their doorsteps.

This is not time for political rhetoric or political correctness. We are confronted with economic hardships that call for urgent and strategic steps being taken to address same. We will work to reduce poverty, attract investments and ensure our people are gainfully engaged to be useful to themselves, families and the society at large. We will bring back social and moral values to ensure we have a more secured, peaceful and responsible society. We’ll be responsive and display empathy when elected.

We intend to achieve enduring Peace and security, rural infrastructural development, prompt payment of counterpart funds, education advancement, boost agriculture, quality healthcare facilities and service delivery, improved traditional institution, prompt payment of salaries and other employees’ benefits, housing scheme, social welfare scheme and improved revenue generation during our administration.
Permit me to say, Jos South Local Government Area is endowed with both human and material resources which we intend to harness to achieve our blueprint for the common good of the people.
If elected as Chairman of this great Local Government-Jos South, there will be zero tolerance for corruption. We will make integrity, accountability, transparency and judicious management of resources our watch words.

We are asking for your support today so that I can be your servant leader in Jos South Local Government Council come 17th February, 2018.

As an individual, I don’t see being a Chairman as an avenue to make money but service to the people sacrificially, godly and diligently.

We are overwhelmed by the tremendous supports accorded us.

To my campaign DG and the entire campaign group, I appreciate your sacrifices to make this idea turned dream to reality. Your sleepless nights were never in vain.

To the elites, stakeholders, youths, women, tin miners, businessmen/women, market women, clergymen and traditional leaders within and outside Jos South LGA, thanks for the great supports and prayers. We’ll not disappoint you. you spent your time, energies and resources to make our dream come true. May God reward and replenish you richly. To our campaign strategists who were on the campaign front and those who were working behind the scenes to ensure this victory, we grateful and full of appreciation.

My appreciation also goes to my coordinators, Personal Assistant and Media Consultant. Thank you for tolerating my excesses and shortcomings.

My special appreciation to the PDP family, PLASIEC, election observers, media and the security agencies for ensuring this election was peaceful, free, fair, credible and acceptable. I endorse the integrity of the election.

I appreciate you all for this mandate and may God grant us victory at the main election scheduled for Saturday 17th February, 2017. I look forward to your supports to achieve this great feat.

May God reward you all richly and abundantly and raise helpers at your time of need.
