I, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon Ph.D received with tremendous joy and excitement the release of Miss Jennifer Ukambong Samuel, a Plateau State Aid Worker who was abducted alongside four others by the dreaded Boko Haram in Borno State on December 22nd, 2019.

Her release has proven that God is the ultimate Rescuer of mankind.

I want to thank the professionalism displayed by the Department of State Service (DSS) and other Sister security agencies that made her release possible.

May I call on security agencies to intensify their efforts to secure the release of our Constituent, Miss Lilian Gyang Daniel from Foron District Barkin Ladi LGA, a 20 year Old 100 Level Student of Zoology, University of Maiduguri Borno State who was abducted last week Thursday 9th January, 2020 while resuming School near Maiduguri, Borno State by Boko Haram Insurgents. This latest abduction has thrown our Federal Constituency and State into confusion and trauma.

Boko Haram Insurgents and Bandits have posed great threat to our national security and peace. I call on the security agencies to put greater strategies in place to bring the madness of the criminal elements to permanent rest.

While thanking God Almighty for the release of Miss Jennifer and 4 others, on behalf of my family and good people of Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, I celebrate with her immediate family, Rep. Engr. Solomon Bulus Maren Member representing Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency Plateau State, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

I wish to call on the public to make sure they provide useful intelligence information to the security agencies in their fight against insecurity.

May I call on government at all levels to rise up to their cardinal constitutional responsibility of protecting lives & property of the citizens.
