The Chief Medical Director of Plateau Specialist Hospital, Prof. Christopher Yilgwan, has congratulated the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, on what he described as three years of impactful, purposeful and transformative leadership in the State.
Prof. Yilgwan, in a congratulatory message signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, Talatu Angi, stated that Governor Mutfwang has continued to demonstrate visionary leadership, unwavering dedication and an uncommon commitment to excellence in governance.
According to him, the Governor’s people-oriented policies and strategic leadership style have attracted rapid growth, institutional transformation and sustainable development across Plateau State, thereby restoring public confidence and giving citizens renewed hope for a brighter future.
The CMD noted that Plateau Specialist Hospital, as one of the key health institutions in the State, has witnessed remarkable progress under the leadership and support of the Mutfwang administration.
He said, “Under your sterling leadership, Plateau Specialist Hospital has recorded significant milestones, including the expansion of residency training programmes, installation and equipping of a state-of-the-art world-class laboratory, completion and furnishing of a new administrative block, expansion of the Pediatric Complex, increased manpower, establishment of a functional Radio-Diagnostic Centre, migration to Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and installation of renewable solar energy solutions, among several other achievements.”
Prof. Yilgwan further asserted that the remarkable accomplishments recorded within the last three years have positioned the Hospital on the path of sustainable growth and excellence while restoring public trust and confidence in the State-owned health institution.
He expressed profound appreciation to Governor Mutfwang for prioritizing the health sector and assured him of the continued commitment, dedication and support of the management and staff of Plateau Specialist Hospital towards delivering quality, accessible and patient-centered healthcare services in line with the administration’s vision of building a healthier and more prosperous Plateau State.
The Chief Medical Director also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength and protection upon Governor Mutfwang as he continues to pilot the affairs of the State towards greater development and progress.
