In celebration of its esteemed Grand Patron, Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Fwangje Gulong (Rtd), the Plateau State Scrabble Association has concluded plans to host a grand birthday bash in honour of his 63rd birthday.

The memorable event is scheduled to take place in Pankshin, Plateau State, drawing Scrabble players and enthusiasts from across the nation.

Arrival Date is Friday, 27th June, 2025, while departure Date is Sunday, 29th June, 2025.

Highlights of the event include, a competitive Scrabble Tournament with amazing prizes for outstanding players and the inauguration of the Board of the Pankshin Scrabble Club—a milestone aimed at nurturing new talents and making the game more appealing to a wider audience.

When contacted on how he feels about the honour, Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Fwangje Gulong (Rtd) expressed heartfelt gratitude: “I am delighted to be honoured by this reputable Association as I mark my 63rd birthday.
