The Nigerian pilgrims participating in the pilgrimage in the Holy Land have maintained their fervent prayers for Nigeria’s development and prosperity. This was evident to our correspondent during their morning and evening prayer sessions, as well as during exhortation while in transit. The pilgrims have also exhibited remarkable patriotism and loyalty to Nigeria. The day’s activities, which featured endurance walks to historic holy sites, saw the pilgrims displaying energy and agility to ensure a meaningful spiritual experience.
The Pilgrims undertook a pilgrimage that featured visits to several historic Holy Sites, including the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane the Pool of Bethesda, the Palace of Pontius Pilate, and Via Dolorosa, also known as the Stations of the Cross. In addition, they were afforded the opportunity to visit Golgotha, where Jesus Christ was crucified, and viewed the Holy Stone where he was laid after being taken down from the Cross, as well as the Tomb originally intended for Joseph of Arimathea, where Jesus Christ was buried and resurrected.

Another major highlight of their pilgrimage was the visit to the Wailing Wall, popularly referred to as the “Western Wall”, where the Pilgrims took time to pray individually.
Pilgrims’ visits to the cited Holy Sites, renowned for their spiritual magnitude, can amplify their spiritual prowess, given that these visits are conducted with genuine devotion and faith.
