As the 9th Batch of the Christian Pilgrimage Exercise Continues in Israel, Pilgrims have intensified their intercession through prayers aligning to the earlier admonition by the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC for them to see the exercise beyond tourism and make it a period of divine encounter with God.
From the commencement of the exercise, Pilgrims have voluntarily sustained the Prayers at the Holy Sites visited as well as during their corporate prayers in the Morning and Evening.
This is an indication that they are desirous to enhance the Nation’s growth through divine intervention.
While the Officials saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring the success of the overall exercise, the Pilgrims have displayed remarkable maturity, decorum and mutual respect in most cases.
The Pilgrims being led by the Tour Guides and other assign officials of the NCPC.













The Pilgrims to the Holy Land on Monday 3rd March, 2025 commenced their first point of call was The Mount of the Beatitudes located in northern Israel, near the Sea of Galilee. Specifically, it is situated near the town of Capernaum, which was an important center of Jesus’ ministry. The mount is also known as Mount Eremos, and it is believed to be the site where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, including the Beatitudes.
Pilgrims also visited the Mount of Multiplication where Jesus Christ fed 5,000 with Five Loaves of Bread and Two Fish as well as the Town of Capernaum popularly referred to as the “Town of Jesus” which doubled as the hometown of Peter, the Disciple of Christ.
Another major highlight of the Day was the Boat Cruise on the Sea of Galilee which featured prayers, praise and praises.
