The Plateau State Government, in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Plateau State Chapter, is thrilled to announce the first-ever Plateau State Interdenominational Unity Christmas Carols and Praise Festival.
This much-anticipated event is set to take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at the 10 Commandment Prayer Altar in Doi, DU, Jos South Local Government Area. The festivities kick off each day at 3:30 PM.
What to Expect
This groundbreaking event, themed “One Voice, One Spirit in Christ,” will feature a blend of spiritual upliftment, music, and the celebration of Christmas traditions. The festival aims to unite individuals across denominations in a harmonious display of faith, peace, and togetherness.
Attendees can look forward to:Soul-stirring performances by gospel music sensation Solomon Lange and other renowned artists.Inspirational speeches from distinguished guests, including General Dr. Yakubu Gowon (GCFR) as the Father of the Occasion and Ambassador Professor Mary Lar as the Mother of the Occasion.
The presence of former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) as the Distinguished Guest of Honour.
The event will be hosted by Reverend Father Polycarp Lubu, Chairman of CAN Plateau State Chapter, with His Excellency Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Governor of Plateau State, serving as the Chief Host.
