PDP Governor’s Forum Empathizes With Sen. Ahmed Makarfi on Demise of Son, Faisal

The Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Mohammed, alongside his Plateau State counterpart, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, have extended their deepest condolences to Sen. Ahmed Muhammed Makarfi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), over the tragic loss of his son, Faisal Ahmed Makarfi.

Delivering the condolence message on behalf of the Forum, Sen. Bala Mohammed expressed profound sympathy to the former Governor of Kaduna State and prayed for divine comfort and fortitude to bear this painful loss. He lamented the passing of Faisal at such a young age and acknowledged the significant impact he made in his brief life. While noting that every parent hopes to be survived by their children, Sen. Bala stated that the untimely death, although deeply sorrowful, aligns with the inscrutable will of God.

On behalf of the PDP Governors’ Forum, he conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the entire Makarfi family and prayed for God to grant them the strength and comfort needed to navigate this difficult period of grief.

In his response, Sen. Ahmed Muhammed Makarfi expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed and Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for taking time from their busy schedules to visit him at his residence in Kaduna. He said the visit has brought the much-needed consolation to his family. He expressed appreciation for the outpouring of love, kindness, and empathy shown by the PDP Governors’ Forum during this challenging time. The former Governor prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the Governors as they lead their respective states.
