The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Stakeholders across the Five (5) State Wards of Zawan District on Wednesday 4th September, 2024 visited Hon. Silas Patrick Dung at his residence in Gura Topp to congratulate him and assured him of their unalloyed loyalty and support.

Da James Stephen Pam Leader of the delegation in his remarks congratulated Hon. Silas Patrick Dung for emerging victorious during the PDP Local Government Council Primaries for Jos South Local Government Area which held on 15th August, 2024.
Da James also appreciated the Chairmanship Candidate for being meticulous in selecting one of their illustrious Daughter, Ngo Kachollom Lucy Michael as his running Mate for the forthcoming Council Polls, the choice he said was well-thought of considering the pedigree and track records of the running mate.
He assured them of the readiness of the People of Zawan District to vote overwhelmingly for the PDP in the forthcoming elections at the Ward and Local Government levels in order to get the dividends of democracy to the People.

He eulogized the Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Silas Patrick and his running Mate, Ngo Kachollom Lucy Michael as Grassroot Politicians who have better comprehension of the challenges of Jos South Local Government Area and will work as a Team with the Legislative Arm to address them.

The Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung expressed gratitude to the delegation and the assurance given to his Team saying it has further strengthened them.
He said his choice of Mrs. Kachollom Lucy Michael is aimed at ensuring gender balancing in politics and governance process. He further stated that her impeccable character and track records as a Technocrat and accomplished civil servant informed his decision of picking her as his running mate.
He assured them that they will bring about transformation and rapid development when elected.

He urged all those who contested Councillorship positions to united with the winner in order to deliver the Party at all levels.
According to him, PDP will emerge victorious at all levels in Jos South LGA considering the level of acceptability the party is enjoying among the Citizens. He expressed optimism that Jos South LGA will be in safe hands if the duo and elected to superintend the Council. He prayed God to grant them and other Councillorship Candidates victory come 9th October, 2024.

Ngo Kachollom Lucy Michael the PDP Deputy Chairmanship Candidate lauded the Chairmanship Candidate for picking her and promised not to betray the confidence reposed in her. She also appreciated the People of Zawan for the support given to the PDP charging them to be more united for the progress and development of the District.
