Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has congratulated retired Brigadier General Tunde Ogbeha, on the occasion of his 76th birthday.
In a message, Governor Mutfwang described Senator Ogbeha as a patriotic Nigerian and an astute politician whose contributions have significantly enriched the growth, peace, and development of Nigeria.
Governor Mutfwang fondly recalled Senator Ogbeha’s selfless and invaluable service during his tenure as the Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom State and the old Bendel State during the military era.
He noted that it was Senator Ogbeha’s remarkable service during those times that endeared him to the people, leading to his election as a Senator when democracy was restored in 1999.
The Governor expressed his admiration for Senator Ogbeha’s unwavering passion, dedication, and patriotism towards Nigeria.
He commended Senator Ogbeha’s humility in public service, which has served as an inspiration not only to himself but also to countless Nigerians who have had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
Governor Mutfwang also expressed his delight in Senator Ogbeha’s pivotal role in stabilizing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State leading up to the 2023 General Elections.
He emphasized that Senator Ogbeha’s fatherly role in resolving party issues will be eternally cherished by the people of Plateau.
