Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Mwadkwon Lauds Discharge of Hon. Raymond Dabo by Appeal Court Over Alleged Corruption

The Senate Minority Leader and Senator Plateau North, Sen. Simon Mwadkwon PhD has congratulated the former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Hon. Raymond Dabo over his resounding victory at the Court of Appeal which discharged and acquitted him of all allegations of money laundering and conspiracy charges earlier levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).


In a statement signed by Friday Bako his Director of Media and Publicity, the Senator described the decision of the Appeal Court as apt considering the moral standing of the accused in the society having contributed immensely to the the growth of democracy, humanity and the society.
He further urged Hon. Raymond Dabo not allow the persecution he went through since 2018 weigh him down but see same as one of the storms of life.
The Senator said “I am optimistic that our Leader, Hon. Raymond Dabo is coming out of the persecution stronger and better as a true Democrat and Patriot who has contributed greatly to Nation building. As Leader of our great party in Plateau State, Hon. Raymond Dabo served diligently and meticulously”

While wishing him the best, he urged him to remain strong, forge ahead and leave the past behind him.
