St. Michaels Old Students Association (SMOSA) Jos has selected it’s new caretaker Committee Members to pilot the affairs of the Union.

According to the committee Chairman, Comrade Danladi David Kadan the union is to bring old Students to those fresh memories and to enable them give back to the school that made them this far. He said their success story in life can not be told without mentioning the great college which has shaped them, mold them and nutured them .

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Danladi David Kadan said “I with all sense of humility use this opportunity to appreciate all old students of the highly esteemed citadel of learning SMC our alma mater, especially those that made out of their scarce time space to attend the congress meeting held on the 17th day of April 2022.”

He further said “The congress unanimously set up a caretaker committee to pilot the affairs of the association and have selected a few of us to champion this course. I must confess that I am the most unworthy person to lead this Association owing to the fact that SMC is a school whose existence doubles my numerical age if not trippingly. An association with members spread across different nations of the world.

Nevertheless I write this day to accept the responsibility with great humility believing that they that sent me will work with me to achieve the goals set before us.

I plead with all SMOSAITES to support this vision and work hand in hand with the committee in reviving and restoring the glory of our dear Association. Please do not refuse when duty knocks at your door as we shall soon come knocking.

Our vision is to see to it that we build a support system for each other, creating opportunities that will help us uplift one another and also build our alma mater.

I conclude by restating that we will not betray this trust as our trust is solely on God who has never and will never fail.
