NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE STUDENTS (NASS)

NATIONAL BODY

We received with great shock the brutal killing of one of our very own, a NASSITE from the Kebbi state University of Science and Technology KSUSTA Aliero.

Shariff Sale-Kanya a 22  year old final year student of Biochemistry  of the Kebbi State University of science and Technology, Aliero who  killed by a mob in the name of “jungle justice” .

Information gathered through the News Agency of Nigeira (NAN) reveals that the deceased bought a phone which he paid through transfer. He then proceeded to the school for his final exams where he  switched off the phone to write the examination. On finishing his exam, the deceased switched on the phone where he realized that the mobile transaction was reversed. He immidiately proceeded to the place he bought the phone to make the payment. On reaching the market, Sale-Kanya was attacked by a mob and was brutally beaten to comma. He was then rushed to the hospital where he have the ghost.

We by this release sympathize with NASSITES and the entire KSUSTA. We also urge everyone to be peaceful and law abiding as the state government and security agencies are on top of the situation. Information gathered also reveals that the culprits have been brought to book and we are. Confident that justice will be served..

We call on government at all levels to stand against “jungle justice” as no one is guilty until proven otherwise by the court of law.

Our heart goes to the family of the deceased, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear this loss.
