Save School for the Deaf, Bassa from hunger and starvation

SSS3 and JSS3 students of the school for the deaf Bassa scheduled to write their final exams are undergoing hunger and starvation.

The school which is a public boarding school for secondary students with special needs has been facing food challenge for a long period of time thus making it difficult for the students to complete academic session. Whenever the school runs out of food, the students are sent back home and made to wrote exams even when they are yet to exhaust their syllabus. This has contributed in producing half baked students from the school and make them vulnerable to criminal activities to fend for themselves.

The Plateau State government and spirited individuals should kindly come to aid of these students by assisting them with food items and cash so that they can come and write their terminal exams. The Plateau State government should also change its posture towards the school so that these special students can be well trained.
