REP. SIMON MWADKWON, PH.D LAUDS NUJ CORRESPONDENT CHAPEL PLATEAU STATE FOR SUCCESSFUL ELECTION, CONGRATULATES NEW EXECUTIVES

The Honorable Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency Plateau State, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon has commended the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Correspondent Chapel Plateau State for conducting a credible, free, fair and generally acceptable election.

The Federal Lawmaker lauded all those who contested for their maturity and the spirit of sportsmanship displayed.

In his congratulatory message, Rep. Simon Mwadkwon urged the new Executive to bring more professionalism in journalism and ensure people get information that are accurate, verifiable and factual.

The Legislator admonished the Gyang Bere-led Executives to carry all who contested with them and other Journalists along as they pilot the affairs of Correspondent Chapel of the NUJ.

He assured them of his supports and wished them a fruitful tenure of greater accomplishments.

It will be recalled that the NUJ Correspondent Chapel Plateau State had its election in which the following persons emerged new Executives;

1. Gyang Bere – Chairman
2. Douglas Francis – Vice
   Chairman
3. Pam Musa – Financial Secretary
   4.Martha Nyam Azi – Treasurer
4. John Farinola – Assistant Secretary
5. Jude Dagwam – Auditor
