The Ondo State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2016 Election has again emerged winner of the PDP Primary Election.

He pulled 888 Votes to defeat his closest rival the Deputy Governor of the State, His Excellency Agboola Ajayi who got 657 Votes.

He will again be contesting the main election, slated for October 10th, 2020 with the incumbent Governor, His Excellency Rotimi Akeredolu.

Full results of the primaries are as seen below;

1. Eddy Olafeso = 175 votes
2. Banji Okunomo = 90 votes
3. Agboola Ajayi = 657 votes
4. Boluwaji Kunlere = 33 votes
5. Sola Ebiseni = 29 votes
6. Bode Ayorinde = 95 votes
7. Godday Erewa = 14 Votes
8. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN = 888 Votes

A total of 2,111 Delegates participated in the election.
