The attention of Wase equity project has been drawn to a publication in online and social media platform attributing the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase to a particular camp  as far as the upcoming southern zone senatorial by-election is concerned and  supposedly in opposition to a said camp of His excellency the Governor of Plateau State.

For the avoidance of doubt and to set the record straight, the Deputy Speaker is a leader and a father to all aspirants in the southern senatorial race, moreover, he does not have and does not belong to any camp whatsoever.
He equally does not have preference to any particular aspirant in the coming southern zone senatorial bye election.

Consequently, people should  disregard the said write up in totality as the Deputy Speaker is  committed to his duty as a principal officer and representing the good people of Wase federal constituency at the National Assembly and has no rift or disagreement with the Executive Governor of Plateau State.

It is highly cunning to attribute the visit of the former Speaker of the House Of Representatives Rt Honourable Yakubu Dogara, to the residence of the Deputy Speaker in Jos, where he was hosted to a lunch after the program for the inauguration of the New CAN Execuitives on the Plateau,which Rt Honourable Yakubu Dogara was the chairman of the occasion to any political meeting,talk less of  planning of defection to another political party.

In this regard therefore, we want to State clearly that Rt. Honourable Ahmed Maje remain committed to All Progressives Congress and he is ready to contribute his own quota  to the electoral success of any aspirant that emerged Victorious in the coming APC southern senatorial by election primary election.
