Managing Director of CAH Consultancy LTD Alhaji Iliyasu Manu , on Tuesday called on the Hon Minister Federal Ministry of Agriculture and rural development to ignore a cooked up petition titled 500 Million Naira contract scam at the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria .

In a letter addressed to the Minister and a copy made available to newsmen in Jos, Manu said , the attention of CAH Consultancy LTD has been drawn an online publication that its company belongs to a former Director who was a former provost of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology Vom Professor Garba Sharubutu and that all transcations in the the company were tailored towards his personal interest .

He said that CAH Consultancy LTD did not want to join issues with the the petitioners because they were not properly informed about the formation and mode of the company of that nature. .
The letter reads that CAH Consultancy LTD is a company floated by the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology Vom and is the sole proprietor of the company .

He said the main aim floating the company was to improve the college Internally Generated Revenue IGR and that all the company signatories are senior management staff of the Institution nominated by the college to serve in their respectives capacities .
The Managing Director further said that ,this is evident that relevant portion of the memorandum of agreement particularly pages 1- 3 of the said memorandum .
During the said former Director ( Prof Sharubutu ) was provost of the college and from the inception of the company on the 29th of December 2015 , he was by virtue of his position as Provost of the college a director of the company ,but since his tenure elapsed on the 14th of February 2019 , he ceased to part of anything to do with CAH consultancy Ltd , this is also evident by his letter of resignation dated 10th April 2019 ,which was accepted by the company,s management committee and communicated to him in writing .
We wish to say that 3 directors of the company who are shareholders in the company are all staff .
CAH consultancy since its inception through its activities has increased the IGR of the institution and has funded a number of projects which includes purchases of tractor , one unit Lexus SUV vehicle for the office of provost ,purchase 4 unit of 406 cars for principal officers of the college , purchase of 5 ford galaxy space buses for deans of schools ,purchase of ambulance for the college veterinary hospital , construction of a classroom block for fishery department amongst other projects .

He said that contracts awarded to CAH Consultancy LTD were specialized contracts mostly for training of which the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology has a high comparative advantage because of its very rich human and material resources for training in line with the college.

The MD called on all to ignore the petition as it was cooked up and done for mischief purpose with a view to disparage the former provost of the college who has served the company diligently .
