I hope we are all safe, staying at home and observing all recommended safety precautions as well as obeying all governmental lay down rules.

I woke up this morning thinking about the whole world situation and it’s economic impact as well as current plight of an average Nigerian in the face of the lockdown. Who survives by the daily income earned from either sales or workmanship.

But what baffles me the most from my thought is the absence and silence of my national representative. Hon Haruna Maitala. Not forgetting his continues and incessant silence at the green Chambers, which calls to question if his Senior Legislative Aide or several advisers have notified him of his silence at the green Chambers?

Hon sir, your silence portrays a poor score card which means your representation Worths no recommendation. Sir we expect you to speak up on several issues bothering your constituency which happens to be the largest in plateau State.

But our immediate concern is the plight of your constituents in the Covid 19 pandemic, who has been forced into a total lockdown without palliative, Sir it is expected that as our representative, moves should have been made to provide some means of survival through relief materials like food stuffs, cash or absent basic amenities.

May I remind you sir, that your constituents which you represent in most parts lack water supply. And as it stands, people are leaving without water in most parts of Jos North.

Please Sir , your constituents need you now at a time when for some of them all hope is lost, to speak words of hope and also provide for the indigent and most vulnerable. It also might seem that your aides are not doing their job appropriately or you probably might have made the wrong choices in terms of appointment.

Because it is their responsibility to remind you of your responsibility in times like this if you have forgotten. My Honourable Sir, I expect to see tank load of water, truck load of grains etc been shared and at least some initiative of small cash to your constituents or better still preventive and protective materials.
