Plateau state Commissioner of information and Communication Dan Manjang says the Rescue administration has no option than to complete the turn around of services of the state run broadcast station.
Manjang wants Governor Simon Lalong to consider the station as part of the Lalong Legacy projects.
The Commissioner made the declarations at the end of visits to the Dankang, Shendam and Mangun booster stations of PRTV.
He said recruitment of trained manpower will be required to sustain the huge investment being made by government in the station.
Manjang said the Lalong administration has come up with a strategic document on tackling social and economic development issues in the state with a view to leaving behind enduring legacies.
He commended management and staff of PRTV for sustaining the station in the face of changing technology.
General Manager, Plateau Radio Television said the present Commissioner of Information and Communication Dan Manjang has demonstrated an uncommon zeal to transform the information sector and its management in the state.
Jakden explained the Mangun booster station which has a wider FM reach has reached 90 percent of repairs.
He thanked Governor Simon Lalong, leader of the Rescue Team for his administration’s support for PRTV.
Jakden promised to continue to bring to public view government policies and programs and at the same time relaying feedback from the people to the Government.
