100 Days in office – Plateau Group rates Housing commissioner Barrister Rimven Zulfa High

Exactly 100 days ago, Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong swore in 23 commissioners with a call on them to work toward achieving results.

Speaking on the 100 days in office of the Commissioners , a group Plateau Regeneration Group PRG has rated the Commissioner for Housing of the State Barrister Rimven Zulfa high saying that he has distinguished himself through his selfless service to his constituents and Plateau at large through his office.

Spokesperson of Plateau Regeneration Group , Pam Datiri in a statement made available to newsmen said Rimven is doing well in following up of projects been implemented by the rescue administration .

“We have carried out our research and come to conclusion that Barrister Rimven stands out tall “

The Hon. Commissioner for Housing Zulfa Bitrus Rimven Esq. Whose Ministry provides Technical and supervisory support to ensure speedy completion of some ongoing construction work is doing excellently well in ensuring completion of some projects in Plateau .

“Hon Zulfa is also always in touch with his constituents and preaching the good message of the the Lalong led rescue administration .”

“We commend Governor Lalong for appointing Barrister Zulfa as Commissioner and call on him to continue to do his job diligently”.

It could be recalled that Governor Lalong had during the swearing in of commissioners about a 100 days ago charged them on loyalty, diligence, commitment, probity and accountability, noting that the attributes were crucial to the state’s development plans and key to realising the three-pillar policy thrust of the administration.

“The policy thrusts are hinged on peace, security and good governance, physical infrastructural development and sustainable economic rebirth.

Lalong had said “I will not hesitate to reprimand, chastise, query and, where necessary, discipline by removal from office, anyone who goes contrary to the agenda of the “Rescue Administration” and extant public civil service rules,” he warned.

The governor emphasised the need to fulfil the challenges of leaving a lasting legacy, and cautioned the officials against distractions from relations, friends and party loyalists.

Also recently Commissioner for Housing, Barrister Zulfa Bitrus Rimven, called on citizens of the state especially his constituents to give maximum support to Governor Lalong stressing that the Governor is determined to better the lives of citizens of the state

Speaking with some members of his Constituents in Langtang recently he hailed Governor Simon Lalong for his quality leadership .

Lalong doing well in providing dividends of democracy to citizens of Plateau as the Lalong legacy projects is scattered in every senatorial district of Plateau .

Zulfa also commended Lalong,s unique fight against corruption, saying that it was yielding the desired results as the state was recently rated as the second least corrupt state in the country. “I congratulate our Governor, Simon Lalong, for declaring zero tolerance for corruption since assuming office such that the state was among the first in Nigeria to adopt the Treasury Single Account (TSA), where he makes sure all monies accruing to Plateau State go to a single account for easy oversight and monitoring. “Lalong also established the Efficiency Unit that is saddled with the duty of checking all proposals and requests to ensure that they are in line with the vision of the government and offer value for the people. Again, the governor put in place the Bureau for Public Procurement which has the mandate of vetting all procurements to ensure that there is no wasteful and exaggerated cost. “The governor also set up the Project Monitoring and Result Delivery Unit (PMRDU) domiciled in the Office of the Chief of Staff with clear mandate to ensure diligent tracking of Projects and Programmes implementation by all the MDAs.
